Journey To ‘A Land Called Tarot’ This February With Gael Bertrand [Exclusive Preview]

In Gael Bertrand's A Land Called Tarot, the Knight of Shadows comes across all manner of strange and colorful inhabitants during his quest through a mysterious land. The fantastical story debuted in Brandon Graham and Emma Rios' boundary-pushing Image Comics anthology Island, but is being collected in its own hardcover for readers to fully experience Bertrand's beautiful pages uninterrupted.

The hardcover also features never before seen material, and Image has provided us with an exclusive look inside.

Prior to A Land Called Tarot, Bertrand worked on Hellblazer for Vertigo, and last year he teamed with Brandon Graham for an issue of Prophet: Earth War. Bertrand's art is absolutely breathtaking, and brings to mind comparisons with the detail-oriented work of James Stokoe and the fanciful imagination found in cartoons like Over The Garden Wall.
