Laurent Durieux Puts An Art Deco Spin On ‘Die Hard,’ The Transformers And The Iron Giant [Art]

It probably won't come as a surprise to anyone, but I'm a big fan of Art Deco. The architecture and design are just phenomenally appealing to me, and while I knew I liked it when it was applied to Batman (much as I like most things), it wasn't until today that I realized I would actually really like an Art Deco take on the Transformers.

You learn something new every day, I suppose, and that's what I learned from checking out the beautifully designed poster art of Laurent Durieux, a Belgian artist specializing in retrofuturist takes on movies like The Iron Giant, Die Hard, and even the classic Charlie Brown Christmas Special.
