So here's what you need to know about Yasmin Sheikh's Luna the Vampire: She's a vampire who lives in outer space --- technically in Monster Space --- and she flies around in a spaceship shaped like a coffin. That's it.

Okay, so maybe that's more like all I needed to know, because coffin-shaped spaceships are, as it turns out, exactly my jam. Really though, that's only one panel in the upcoming second issue, in which Luna heads to her soul-crushing retail job. The good news is that there might be a promotion in her future, but the bad news? There are, of course, hijinx. Check out an exclusive preview below!

Clearly Luna the Vampire is built around comedy, but I honestly don't know if there has ever been a story element as harrowing as the idea that one could be a vampire (rad) and also be in space (super rad), but still have to work a regular day job to get by. Although, as long as we're being honest with each other, having a friendly werewolf manager would actually be pretty cool.
