Mattel has officially expanded its new 6" DC Total Heroes action figure line at NYCC 2013 with the reveal of several new heroes and villains. Joining the previously-seen Superman, Batman, Green Lantern and Sinestro are a "Hush" style Batman, Mr. Freeze, Flash, Aquaman and Bizarro. Aw, poor Aquaman's the only dude without a villainous counterpart. Apparently, Black Manta will join the line later, along with Batman Beyond. Like Mattel's Masters of the Universe Classics toys, all of the Total Heroes figures are sculpted by The Four Horsemen, although this line seems targeted primarily to kids given its limited articulation and more cartoony sculpts. Character designs seem like simplified versions of Jim Lee's New 52 Justice League suits, although Bizarro seems a little more chill than his modern counterpart. Each figure will be available at conventional retailers, along with MattyCollector and come with three swappable heads. You can see the NYCC display up close after the cut.

Update: On Friday, October 11 Mattel showcased Black Manta, Batman Beyond, and Green Lantern John Stewart in the Total Heroes line packaging. Some of line's swappable heads were also on hand, demonstrating their ability to effectively change figures into different characters. Batman Beyond can turn into Bruce Wayne and John Stewart can change into Tomar Re.
