In the words of the great Huey Lewis, "The power of love is a curious thing. Make a one man weep. Make Scott Pilgrim draw a fiery battle sword from his chest."

That's how the version I sing in the shower every day goes, thanks to Bryan Lee O'Malley's Oni graphic novel series-turned Edgar Wright-directed film.

New images from that very movie - the upcoming "Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World" - have surfaced at Superherohype. One is a nice group shot of the cast that's been making its way around the Web for awhile now. The other? Brother's and sisters, it's one you've been waiting for:

Yeah, that's Michael Cera with a seemingly mystical flaming katana! Action at last!

Since O'Malley's sixth and final SP volume remains a mystery to readers, it's unclear whether this image will synch up perfectly with what's coming in print. If volume four is any indication, and I think it is, at some point Cera's going to show us what it looks like to "level up" in live action. Once that goes down, it'd seem logical to use it in battle against someone who resembles the enigmatic Gideon (played by Jason Schwartzman) as he stands atop a pyramid of mystery.

Man, I could really go for some Huey Lewis right now.
