Surprising absolutely no one, I've been having a lot of fun reading IDW's My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic comic, and what the second arc lacks in David Bowie references, it certainly makes up for in action. Now, it's heading into the climax of the story, in which Ponyville is preparing to do battle against the Moon. That's right: The friggin' Moon.

If you haven't been keeping up with Amy Mebberson and Heather Breckel's arc, Rarity was possessed by the spirit of nightmares, so obviously everyone had to pull the moon out of the sky and head up there to remind everyone about the power of love and friendship... with extreme prejudice. Check out the preview below to see the dire straits that everyone's favorite ponies are in now!

Oh, Applejack. Haven't you watched the show? Dancing is the answer to literally every problem you have. As for what's going to happen, your guess is as good as mine, but I'm pretty sure the bad guys are going to win this one. Things are about to get super dark in My Little Pony.

The climactic confrontation goes down in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic #8!
