‘My Little Pony Micro-Series: #2: Rainbow Dash’ Brings The Sonic Rainbooms [Preview]
I've been to a lot of rock shows in my time, but it wasn't until previewing this week's My Little Pony Micro-Series: #2: Rainbow Dash that I got to watch a winged horse scream through the sky with a Flying V to kick out a "Sonic Rainboom!" on printed paper. Why didn't Chris Sims tell me The Hub's MLP series had stuff like this in it? The comic doesn't stop there, however, as writer Ryan Lindsay, artist Tony Fleecs and colorist Amy Mebberson continue to deliver a tale about a pony with 'tude confronting cloud-riding gremlin dudes. Throw in a variant cover by My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic senior storyboard artist Sabrina Alberghetti and the issue may just be music... to your eyes. From IDW's official solicitation info:
The next in a series of spotlights focusing on everyone's favorite Ponies! Rainbow Dash takes her job patrolling the skies very seriously, but she may have met her match when a group of mischievous cloud gremlins threaten to block out the sun! Rainbow Dash will have her hooves full when it comes to these pint-sized menaces!
