New Screen Shots From the ‘Scott Pilgrim vs. the World’ Video Game Continue to Light Up Our Lives
Because the full official video game trailer for "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" and its other assorted previews are but snacks for ravenous fans awaiting the meal that will be a fully playable game on the PlayStation3 come August 10 (and shortly thereafter on Xbox 360), the feeding frenzy for Bryan Lee O'Malley-based brawling continues with brand new screen shots over at Joystiq.

From a very "Super Mario Bros. 2" ("Doki Doki Panic" if you're nasty) character select screen to some RPG-tastic restaurant ordering to Sex Bob-Omb's perfectly pixelated jam session, Joystiq's new images serve as scrumptious morsels of SP gaming delight. Why, even Ramona Flowers' first evil ex Matthew Patel looks delighted to in the mix.
The only thing the screen shots are missing are the soulful chiptune grooves of Anamanaguchi, but all be well when audio meets playable video in less than two short months.
Feast your eyes on a few of our favorite screens after the jump.
