‘Pinocchio, Vampire Slayer: Of Wood and Blood’ Launching Digitally in January

Pinocchio, Vampire Slayer: Of Wood and Blood, the third and final installment of the PVS trilogy by Van Jensen and Dusty Higgins, will stab its way onto comiXology in January. Following two printed OGNs (Pinocchio, Vampire Slayer and Pinocchio, Vampire Slayer Volume 2: The Great Puppet Theater), Of Wood and Blood marks the series' first outing as an initially serialized volume, though a trade paperback will collect the digital issues in the summer of 2012. Both old and new fans alike will will be able to sample the first issue of the new series for free on comiXology, with each following issue price at $0.99.Pinocchio, Vampire Slayer: Of Wood and Blood will pick up right after the events of The Great Puppet Theatre and see a shipwrecked crew of one newly-real boy and his magical puppet allies shipwrecked on an island where their friend has been taken captive by the evil master of their world's vampiric threat.
