‘Planetary’ #27 Cover Hits The Web

"Planetary" writer Warren Ellis has posted John Cassaday's full wraparound cover art from the series' long-awaited final issue on his blog. Fans will recognize visual elements from preceding installments, including my personal favorites - the bugs from Island Zero!

Ellis has indicated that the issue will arrive in October through Wildstorm, which has many crossing their fingers. "Planetary" #26 shipped nearly two and a half years ago, after all. In fact, now might be a good time to break out the trade paperbacks to freshen up those old memories before the series concludes for good. You'd look ridiculous if you forgot the details.
