The loss of Apple co-founder and CEO Steve Jobs continues to be felt in virtually every area of society that has any sort of electrical current running through it, and that includes of course the studios of comic book artists, illustrators and graphic designers. As much as an influence Jobs had on the technology sector, it is the creative community who arguably benefited most from Apple's innovations and for whom Jobs toiled most tirelessly. As made plain by his consistently impecable taste in aesthetics, unmatched gift for presentation and of course his long association with Pixar Animation Studios, Steve Jobs was inspired by artists and designers. On the occasion of Jobs' untimely death earlier this week, those artists and designers paid tribute to the man whose work inspired them.
