Oni to Publish Tessa Stone's Horror-Comedy 'Not Drunk Enough'
Ordinary blue-collar worker concerns may include low minimum wages or job automation. Repairman Logan Ibarra's concerns, however, aren't as ordinary; he just want to escape his night's last assignment without getting beheaded, assaulted by flowery parasites, or stabbed (any further). With nearly two years into its run, Tessa Stone's horror-comedy webcomic Not Drunk Enough is now set to be published as a trilogy by Oni Press. ComicsAlliance sat down with Stone to talk about Not Drunk Enough, claustrophobia, and the debatable merits of actually being drunk during a horror scenario.
Rachel Connor Talks 'Regular Show: Hydration' Graphic Novel
Boom! Studios has found success with a line of Adventure Time original graphic novels that's being published alongside the ongoing monthly comic, so it was only a matter of time before they expanded that strategy to include Regular Show as well. Now, we're just about to see the first full-color Regular Show graphic novel, Hydration, hitting shelves with a story of everyone's favorite raccoon and bluejay dealing with a heat wave that hits the park, sending them in search of a way to cool off. It's a simple idea, but under Rachel Connor and Tessa Stone, it turns into a sprawling adventure that's full of the magical realism and 8-bit video games that Regular Show fans have come to love. To find out more, I spoke to Connor about the process of creating a story that would be longer and more complicated than any episode of the show, the strange twists that allowed it to expand to a full 155 pages, and why the Baby Ducks just had to make an appearance.

'Regular Show' Graphic Novel Examines The Mystery Pool
As the band Solid Bold so indelibly noted in their song "Summertime Loving, Loving In The Summer (Time)," "It's Summertime and you know what that means / Gonna head down to the beach, gonna do some beachy things." One of those beachy things could be plopping down on the sand and reading a graphic novel about Regular Show...uh, regulars Mordecai and Rigby trying to figure out how and why a mysterious pool appeared in their park in the midst of a blistering heat wave. That's the premise of the new Boom! Studios graphic novel by Ed, Edd and Eddy writer Rachel Connor and artist Tessa Stone (Bravest Warriors). The beautiful cover above is by Allison Strejlau, artist on the monthly Regular Show series.

'Bravest Warriors' #15 Comic Book [Preview]
It looks like Beth of the Bravest Warriors may just prove herself the most relatable member of the team in next week's Boom! Studios issue. You see, in Bravest Warriors #15, the heroine comes across a box of her childhood toys. At first she contemplates cleaning house by donating them (a fine idea!), but then? She reminds herself why action figures perhaps the greatest technical/spiritual achievem
