Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 3 will diverge from its predecessors without a direct tie-in to Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War, but a new synopsis for the May 10 outing may tip the scales for Iron Man or Captain America. Will Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. be registering its Inhumans in the wake of Marvel’s biggest cinematic showdown?

Hot Toys, we need to talk. For the most part, I appreciate all the effort put into the figures created by the talented team working for the company. The way Hot Toys is able to recreate the heroes and villains of cinema's most exciting characters must rely on some sort of ancient magic. Somewhere along the line these last few months, the magic well must have started drying up. Where costumes and accessories are still delightfully detailed, the once impeccable likenesses have started failing the characters they're modeled after. That's never been more apparent than the newest announcement, the Captain America: Civil War Ant-Man.

Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye went from one of the less compelling members of the MCU team to one of its most endearing and delightful thanks to his expanded arc in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Hawkeye is gearing up to return to the big screen in Captain America: Civil War, where he'll be pitted against his longtime partner and friend, Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow, in an epic battle between Avengers. And it looks like he's gotten a bit of a costume upgrade, as you can see in these new pieces of promo art.

Falcon is the man. Dude gets some serious chiding about his running from a superhero hopped up on TRT, HGH and any number of other substances deemed illegal for use by the Olympics, the USADA, the NSAC, the Sokovia Accords and people who think sports were better when people didn't have to wear helmets. And for what? Because he couldn't keep up with a morning jog? It was basically the Marvel movie version of "Do you even lift bro?" Yet Sam Wilson still opened his door to Steve Rogers when he needed a place to crash, and even helped him overthrow a HYDRA insurgency within SHIELD in spite of how rude Captain America was to him. Falcon is the man. While he's gotten a figure from Hot Toys before, this latest version is much closer to the comic character we've all come to know and love since his arrival decades ago. The more realistic, militarized version worked well for a debut in Captain America: The Winter Solider, but the revamped model with red highlights helps separate him from the drab gunmetal of enlisted characters like War Machine. While it's not quite as rocking as his current comic look, the Captain America: Civil War Falcon still manages to have a signature look that gives him a bit more personality on the crowded battlefield.

Last we saw Rhodey/War Machine in the Captain America: Civil War trailer, he wasn’t looking so hot. It appears as if Winter Soldier shoots him out of the sky and he crashes to Earth. Iron Man takes Rhodey’s mask off and he’s unconscious as Tony cradles him on his lap and covers the damage to his Arc reactor. This has led to a lot of fan theories that Rhodey bites the big one in Captain America: Civil War. Don Cheadle knows of your theories that he dies and he has something to say about them.

The trailers for Captain America: Civil War have been great at building our anticipation for the epic battle that promises to drastically shake up the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We’ve watched Captain America and Iron Man evolve from their respective solo film debuts all the way through Avengers: Age of Ultron, and this great new supercut traces that evolution throughout the first two phases of the MCU by combining footage from their previous films with scenes from their latest outing to build “The Road to Civil War.”

Now that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has arrived in theaters, it’s time to start looking forward to another epic superhero battle. Captain America: Civil War hits theaters in just over a month, and though this international trailer features familiar scenes, it also offers some new footage, including a special moment between Black Widow and Hawkeye.

The Flash has proven to be one of the most popular superhero adaptations on television, rising above the standard of shows like Smallville, Arrow and even Agents of SHIELD. It's generally regarded as the go-to show for upbeat superhero adventures in a world where Superman levels entire city blocks and Batman asks him if he bleeds. However, there’s one aspect of The Flash that doesn’t quite sit right with a lot of viewers, and that’s the illegal metahuman prison underneath STAR Labs. This is how it starts: The Flash fights a bad guy who can turn himself into mist, and when they catch him, they don’t know what to do with him --- but they have a super-science particle accelerator under their feet which can be converted into a holding cell, so off he goes to lockup. Then they fight a guy who can turn his skin into steel, and he could easily break out of any regular prison, so it only makes sense to lock him up somewhere he can’t break out, and soon they have an entire prison, nicknamed "The Pipeline".

Much has been made about the “friendship” between Captain America and Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Though most take their relationship as face value, there is a growing subset of fans who are reading a little bit more into their bond, something far more romantic. They even have a clever portmanteau: Stucky (Steve/Bucky). There have been entire articles examining the “barely concealed intimations of love” between Cap and Bucky. And don’t even get me started on Tumblr. All that speculation and slashfic is about to get a major boost as the directors of the upcoming Captain America: Civil War have described the movie as a “love story.”

Once in a great while, a truly terrific fan recreation of a big time movie trailer arrives and shakes the pillars of Heaven. It's a rare feat these days, as there's a lot of people vying for that viral smash hit to break through. I've been there, and made more than a few with friends. There are a lot more clever people than me out in the world though, and they're able to make things like this latest Captain America: Civil War trailer. With the help of some mods and some good capture software, the folks at UpisNotJump have brought The Commonwealth wastelands a whole mess of heroes from the Marvel Cinematic Universe filtered through Fallout 4's lens. This is far from the first video game version of a Marvel trailer that we've seen, but the execution from remixed costumes to the lip syncing is so on point in this video, it's hard not to appreciate the efforts that went into crafting such a well-made work.
