Marvel confirmed this week in a USA Today piece that following Joe Madureira and Zeb Wells' two-issue stint, Savage Wolverine will feature a three-part arc written and drawn by Jock, the great British artist known for his work on Vertigo's The Losers, DC's Batman: The Black Mirror, and numerous covers illustrations throughout the entertainment business. Beginning in September, Jock's story will find Wolverine marooned on an alien world in the distant future.

Muti-award-winning cartoonist of Liberty Meadows and the creative force behind the first issues of Marvel's Savage Wolverine series, Frank Cho has teased some sort of new X-Men project with this typically excellent and characteristically alluring portrait of Emma Frost. Cho described the image as being a detail from a wraparound cover that he's created for his yet-to-be-announced follow up to Savage Wolverine, and that the first script just arrived this week.
