There've been a number of Adventure Time spinoffs care of Boom! Studios over the past two years, but Yuko Ota, Ananth Panagariya and Ian McGinty's six-issue miniseries following Peppermint Butler and Cinnamon Bun is perhaps (literally) the sweetest yet. Set to debut on July 17, Adventure Time: Candy Capers will see Princess Bubblegum's most competent servant and... most well meaning citizen set out on a hunt to find a kidnapped Finn and Jake. Boom! won't make you wait to see art from a little deeper in the series, however, and has sent CA an early look at the covers for Adventure Time: Candy Capers #4 by Mia Schwartz, Yasmin Liang, Eva Eskelinen and Michael Dialynas.

While season two of Bravest Warriors has only recently been confirmed to be in the works at Cartoon Hangover, Boom! Studios continues to kick out its monthly comic jams for fans of the show by Joey Comeau and Mike Holmes. This September the duo arrives at a full year of teamwork with Bravest Warriors #12, featuring covers by Tyson Hesse, Joanna Estep, Alec Longstreth and Michelle Czajkowski serving as something of a first birthday present for the series. Whether the team's huddling, dodging lasers, cruising on hoverboards or having their action figure selves played with by Catbug, it's easy to see how the Bravest Warriors having a rad time under the collaboration of Comeau, Holmes and the rest of the BW team has translated into fans having an even radder time over the past year.
