This week, details emerged that actress Zendaya would be playing an updated version of Mary Jane Watson in the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming. While many people greeted this news with good cheer, a very vocal minority of people had some pretty nasty things to say about the changes made to their beloved character. Yesterday, James Gunn, the director of Guardians of the Galaxy, took to Facebook to share his nuanced thoughts regarding the controversy.

Take this with a grain of salt, etc., etc., but a very interesting image popped up online this afternoon which seems to feature a call sheet for Spider-Man: Homecoming. In addition to listing a few characters we already knew about, the rundown apparently reveals some that haven’t been reported, including a potential third villain. Possible spoilers ahead!

We have every reason to be excited for Marvel and Sony’s new Spider-Man reboot, not the least of which is the cast, which somehow gets better with each passing week. The latest name in talks to join Spider-Man: Homecoming is Logan Marshall-Green, aka the actor often confused with Tom Hardy thanks to their ridiculously similar — and very handsome — features. But it looks like this is one role Tom Hardy won’t be taking from his less-appreciated doppelgänger.

Although best known for his recent role as Judge Lance Ito on American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson, Kenneth Choi is no stranger to the Marvel universe, having previously played one of the Howling Commandos in Captain America: The First Avenger. Choi is returning to the MCU, but this time he’ll be playing a different role as the actor has joined the cast of Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Not long after the initial rumor was reported, it was confirmed that Robert Downey Jr. will be making an appearance in Spider-Man: Homecoming — returning Sony’s favor following Tom Holland’s MCU debut as the web-slinger in Captain America: Civil War. Since then, we’ve been wondering if any other Marvel characters would crossover to the Spidey reboot, and according to Holland, there’s at least one more hero he wants to see in his upcoming solo film.
