The most recent season of "Doctor Who" introduced viewers to both a rejuvenated TARDIS and redesigned Daleks, but despite brighter color schemes, neither of these stylized modifications addressed these iconic science fiction symbols' distinct lack of cuddliness...

Is it not satisfying enough to watch the adventures of "Doctor Who" from the comfort of your own home? Would you rather set down the remote and saddle up alongside the quirky Time Lord - whether or not he's played by David Tennant or Matt Smith or someone else entirely - for one of his world-spanning journeys...

At the risk of losing any credibility that I have with you the reader - if I had any to begin with - it's time to reveal that I have not thrown myself into the world of "Doctor Who" yet. It's one of those things that is eternally on my nerdy to-do list, but as of this writing, I just haven't gotten around to it...
