‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Lego Sets On The Way In 2013 [NYCC 2012]

Following the success of its Marvel and DC sets, Lego is turning its attention to perhaps one of the most famous indie comics-turned-multimedia juggernauts of all time, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Starting in 2013, Lego will roll out sets based on Nickelodeon's new CG animated TMNT series in the US and UK, including the team's new vehicle of choice, the Shellraiser. To tease the announcement, Lego sent out a fun buildable pizza slice press kit, with plenty of homages to TMNT lore on the box. This week at New York Comic Con, however, Lego will be giving fans a much closer look at its plans for the TMNT at booth #1538.
