Watch a Shot-for-Shot Live-Action Remake of the ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Opening [Video]

December seems to be the month for Ninja Turtles nostalgia. Last week we experienced a hilarious but painful reminder of just how terribly wrong a friendship can go when it's confronted with the Pizza Power challenge of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time. This week, some radical dudes got together to recreate -- shot-for-shot -- the classic opening (the awesome one with the speed lines and impossible jumps, not the dreadful secondary one from season 4) animation from the Ninja Turtles animated series.

The results are both more and less impressive than you would imagine, and fill you both immense joy and terrible dread. You can check out the video after the jump, and then spend the rest of the week trying to get that God-forsaken song out of your head.
