‘The Ballad of Henry Pym’ Sums Up the Original Ant-Man’s Roots [Video]
If somebody had asked me to imagine a theme song for Ant-Man, I'd have probably slid into my usual routine of overlaying custom lyrics atop the season two theme song of Peter Engel's "Hang Time." Awesome as that might sound -- and it sounds pretty stellar in my imagination -- The Boffo Yux Dudes' "The Ballad of Henry Pym" does a much better job of, well, lyrically accomplishing the things a ballad is supposed to accomplish.I'm honestly not the world's biggest Hank Pym booster, but thanks to the love of writers like Kurt Busiek and Dan Slott and the character's likely new persona less marred by spouse-slapping in Disney XD's upcoming "Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes" animated series, The Boffo Yux Dudes' love for the shrinking hero appeals to even my lukewarm feelings for the size-changer.
