The Flash has worked enough miracles to bring us a live-action King Shark in the first place, let alone his own episode, and now we’re really gonna need a bigger boat. Our first look at Barry’s oceanic opponent has arrived, with a Jaws-style teaser for next Tuesday’s “King Shark.”

Following Tuesday’s “Escape from Earth-2,” The Flash breaches the surface with its first footage of the Suicide Squad member’s anticipated return, borrowing both the score and logo of Spielberg’s classic shark tale. How much we’ll actually see of the character remains to be seen, given the budget crunch, but if there’s any lesson Jaws can teach, it’s building menace with what we don’t see.

So reads the official synopsis for“King Shark”:

ARROW’S DIGGLE (DAVID RAMSEY) AND LILA (AUDREY MARIE ANDERSON) CROSS OVER TO “THE FLASH” TO TAKE ON KING SHARK

When King Shark escapes from an A.R.G.U.S. holding tank, Lila (guest star Audrey Marie Anderson) and Diggle (David Ramsey) travel to Central City to warn The Flash (Grant Gustin). King Shark shows up at the West house and attacks Joe (Jesse L. Martin), Iris (Candice Patton), Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) and Barry.

Keeping “King Shark” tongue-in-cheek is certainly a good start, but will the episode itself pack as much bite as its Jaws homage? Stay tune for more trailers and additional photos of next week’s Flash in the meantime.
