Creator Robert Kirkman Hosts New ‘The Walking Dead’ TV Series Sizzle Reel [Video]

Earlier today we touched on the effect that AMC's TV series adapting "The Walking Dead" has had on its Image Comic print/digital distribution practices. Now, however, we're seeing the effect the show is having on the series' creator/executive producer. Seems Robert Kirkman is dealing (very casually) with his zombies up close and personal in the name of hosting a new sizzle real promoting the show.The new sizzle reel features previously unreleased footage from the show's October 31 debut episode, plus commentary from director Frank Darabont, executive producer Gale Ann Hurd, stars Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes), Jon Bernthal (Shane) and Sarah Wayne Callies (Lori Grimes), and several others.

While the commentary displays the clear enthusiasm of the show's cast and crew, the real meat of the sizzle reel comes from its zombie footage, which still seems horrifying in "behind-the-scenes" mode. Be sure to watch until the end for a hearty synopsis from Kirkman that series fans will very likely share wholeheartedly.
