You know, one assumes that with a thousand lifetimes spent battling evil, Gilad Anni-Padda has probably had ample opportunity to get angry. It's probably at the point where it's not even really a big deal anymore, where he really only has vague memories of what it's like to be truly outraged by one of his enemies. I mean, even the dude who stole his body and trapped him in a labyrinth designed specifically to kill him over and over and over again didn't really get much more than a scowl, right?

Of course, if you really want to see someone get mad, you should check out what they do when their first-born son is kidnapped by demons and taken to literal Hell. That's bound to provoke a pretty extreme reaction, and in Robert Venditti, Robert Gill, and Michael Spicer's Wrath of the Eternal Warrior, we're getting to see it for ourselves. Check out a preview of next week's issue below!

After countless centuries apart, the Earth’s Fist and Steel has finally reunited with his long-lost son, Kalam. But before this father and son can truly find peace, they must first face the impossible…and escape from death itself! As unimaginable terrors rise to prevent Earth’s immortal champion and his scion from returning to the land of the living, can the Eternal Warrior conquer eternity to save the boy he once thought lost…or will his transgressions against the natural order trap them forever at the far end of eternity?

Wrath, rage, and retribution come in full force as New York Times best-selling writer Robert Venditti (X-O MANOWAR, Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps.) and best-selling artist Robert Gill (BOOK OF DEATH) guide Valiant’s immortal master of war down his darkest path yet!
