If you thought that ComicsAlliance's Senior Batmanologist had finished all of his Batman-meeting with his recent interview of voice actor Kevin Conroy, you were grievously in error, dearest reader. After meeting the voice of Batman at Comic-Con, I sent Chris Sims to interview the man who played Batman in the 1966 television series -- and himself on Family Guy -- the one and only Adam West.

And in case you're wondering, yes, Sims convinces him to say "I AM BATMAN AND YOU ARE MY BEST FRIEND."West recently blogged on ComicsAlliance sister site Moviefone about his experiences with Comic-Con, and talked with Sims below about the lasting appeal of the classic Batman television show, and the power of the small moments that happened on set with collaborators like Julie Newmar and Cesar Romero.
