Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 3 has seen a number of familiar faces return, and another crossing paths with Coulson in the coming weeks hearkens back to the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D. itself. Titus Welliver will reprise his role as (ex) Agent Blake on March 29, along with the arrival of Marvel’s “Watchdogs.”

ABC released the official synopsis for the March 29 Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. hour, confirming not only Bosch star Welliver’s resurface from Season 1, but also an iteration of Marvel hate group “Watchdogs” taking aim at the Inhumans:

“Watchdogs” – When a radical group called The Watchdogs emerges with plans to eliminate the Inhumans, Agent Mack and his brother become caught in the crossfire. Meanwhile, Simmons discovers a powerful chemical compound that could alter the future for Inhumans.

Guests: Titus Welliver, Mark Dacascos, Gaius Charles, Trenton Rostedt, Justin Morck, Jonathan Camp, D. Elliot Woods

Welliver first appeared as S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Felix Blake in the Marvel One-Shot “Item 47,” resurfacing in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 1, before being hospitalized by Deathlok (J. August Richards). Seeing as The Winter Soldier’s Hydra reveal occurred shortly thereafter, we never learned what became of Blake before now.

In the meantime, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will resume with Tuesday’s “The Inside Man,” clips of which you can find below, while the series has also been renewed for Season 4.
