‘Batman: Arkham Asylum’ to Have ‘English Sensibility’

'Batman: Arkham Asylum' will be out in a matter of weeks on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC, and if it lives up to the promise of its previews, it's got a shot at the title of Greatest Batman Video Game Ever.

GameDaily has a behind-the-scenes video that talks with both script writer Paul Dini ("Batman: Streets of Gotham") and the developers at Rocksteady Studios. Dini calls Rocksteady "a very English company, so there's a very English sensibility to the design and to the look of Arkham and Gotham which is very appropriate."

There's definitely a refined, gothic horror to the design aesthetic, but fortunately the action sequences are anything but genteel. Check out the video after the jump.
