It's been less than a week since the latest trailer for Joss Whedon's The Avengers movie dropped, which of course means the film's mightiest fans have since assembled remixes and mashups enow to clog even the servers of S.H.I.E.L.D. Among the raddest we've seen thus far is Leo Curbelo's remix, which recreates each scene from the trailer using clips from Marvel's assorted 1960s animated series (plus a 1995 Iron Man episode for some Nick Fury footage). It's a little jarring to watch Samuel L. Jackson's commanding lines erupt from the classic comic and cartoon version, but also, completely awesome. A fellow fan was so impressed with Curbelo's handiwork, he took the liberty of popping both the official trailer and Curbelo's animated version side-by-side. You can check out both versions of The Avengers trailer remixed with '60s Marvel cartoon clips after the cut.
