As much as we've enjoyed imaging our own Pokémon/Marvel Comics mahsups here at ComicsAlliance, there are always more skilled artists embracing their mutual fandoms to celebrate. Take Feriowind, who has coupled the stars of The Avengers movie with adorable pocket monsters in a series of illustrations you may love with all your heart (gold) and soul (silver). The Avengers/Pokémon pairings are fun because they don't just focus on the power attributes of each character, but also their personality types. Thor, for example, can be seen hanging with a number of electric-type buds like Pichu, while Nick Fury kicks it with Mewtwo and Agent Phil Coulson works alongside Gallade. A 22-year-old student at SVA in New York City, the artist is currently selling all 13 of her "Pokévengers" pieces in the form of 5X7" prints, which cost $23 as a set, $3 solo, or $5 for two (plus $1-2 for shipping, depending on whether you live in the US). Of course, if you'd like something a bit more custom, Feriowind also takes sketch commissions. You can check out Feriowind's Pokévengers, plus The Amazing Spider-Man and his Poképals, after the cut.
