Anymore it's pretty well established that the processing power discrepancy between the Nintendo Wii and its console colleagues the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 has resulted in some fairly cartoony ports of major gaming properties. This has been especially apparent with SEGA's upcoming Thor: God of Thunder and Captain America: Super Soldier titles, but fortunately for the arguably more kid-friendly ports, just like Thor's hammer promises fulfilling Wiimote swingage, the utility of targeting switches, deflecting bullets and otherwise smashing faces with an indestructible shield is ripe for Wiimotation.Just as Atari's Ghostbusters Wii port was scrutinized next to its prettier versions on other systems, fans will probably take issue with this version of Super Soldier for sacrificing aesthetics in the name of gameplay, but from what's seen in the trailer and on an earlier demo via IGN, playing as The First Avenger seems pretty smooth. Is the trade-off (and likely $10-20 price difference worth it? We'll let you be the judge when the game drops on July 15.
