If you're not familiar with the frankly brilliant NBC comedy Community, then you are not only part of the reason the show is currently in unscheduled limbo, but you're also missing out on the best sitcom on television (sorry, Parks and Rec). It's ok, though, because you can turn all of that around tonight, when you watch the all-new episode where the cast transforms into anime characters.Cartoon Brew has more details on the segment, which they say was created by Titmouse Animation in the style of '80s anime like Robotech and Voltron for tonight's "Foosball and Nocturnal Vigilantism."

If you're a new viewer and you like what you see, we recommend viewing more on Hulu, as the show has been killing it all season with the relentless drive of a psychopath. Comics fans may particularly appreciate the meticulously plotted multiple timelines episode, which is akin to watching a piece of architecture spontaneously assemble itself.

Community airs at 8 p.m./7 p.m. Central on NBC.
