For more than a year now, DC Collectibles has been making Batman: The Animated Series fans' dreams come true with an action figure line that captures everything we loved about the legendary cartoon. While the process of putting these figures out hasn't been 100% smooth all the way through, DC Collectibles' efforts have given us one of the deepest and most screen accurate action figure lines in the company's history. However, there have been a few characters fans have been looking for that haven't made the leap just yet. This August, it looks like that all changes when Renee Montoya, Bane, Killer Croc, Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy get their own box set.

Revealed on Kotaku this morning, DC Collectibles showcased a few of its upcoming products before solicitations go up early next week. Among them is the $175 Batman: The Animated Series GCPD Rogues Gallery Action Pack, which includes all the characters we mentioned above in a cleverly designed package. All five are in the original B:TAS style, which we haven't seen for any of them to this point. Ivy and Freeze at least got New Batman Adventures styled figures before, but this is the first time we're seeing them and the rest in the original designs.

In addition to having accessories specific to their appearances on the cartoon, the box itself will feature lights to entice you from taking them out of the package. That's all well and good, but I'm quite certain any kind of packaging is worth the premium DC Collectibles is attributing to it. The five figures would likely retail for around ~$25 each individually, so adding another $50 or so just for that box seems a bit much. But we also haven't gotten a Renee Montoya figure in like... ever? Even with the original toy line released in conjunction with the show's airing, I can't recall ever seeing such a thing. Maybe that's incentive enough to pay that much.

The B:TAS figures weren't the only reveal however, and DC Collectibles also has a new Batman: Black and White by Norm Breyfogle statue planned ($80), a new DC Cover Girls Zatanna by Stanley Lau ($100), and two DC Super-Pets in Whatnot and Silky ($15 each) coming this summer. The Breyfogle Batman piece is quite brilliant, and I love the way the cape is its own character here like it was in so many of his pages when working Detective Comics.

Orders for all these items will likely open next week when the official solicitations are released. You can get a look at everything else below.
