Magic And Murder Make Strange Bedfellows In ‘Doctor Strange/Punisher: Magic Bullets’ #1 [Preview]
Everyone loves a good odd couple, but Marvel Comics might have come up with the ultimate embodiment of the tried and tested trope, as this December, Doctor Strange and The Punisher team-up in their own miniseries. Doctor Strange/Punisher: Magic Bullets #1 by John Barber, Andrea Broccardo & Jason Muhr throws the two fan-favorites up against a mystical mafia, and Marvel has provided us with a first look at the debut issue.
This isn't actually the first time Doctor Strange and The Punisher have teamed up, as Jason Aaron and Mike Deodato paired them together in the 2014 event comic Original Sin, as the Marvel Universe hunted for The Watcher's killer. This story seems to be much more ground level affair, as The Punisher recruits Doctor Strange to help him with a mob powered by magic, and the Doctor's Hippocratic Oath is put to the test.
The first installment of Doctor Strange/Punisher: Magic Bullets is actually available to read now as an Infinite Comic via Comixology. As with most Infinite Comics, the miniseries will be collected in print, beginning this December, so if that's your preferred method of reading, you can check out the preview below:
