‘FoxTrot’s Bill Amend Draws ‘XKCD,’ Changes Gravitational Constant of the Universe

Created by physicist and roboticist Randall Munroe, XKCD has earned a loyal following among fans of humor and academics, and the deeply schizophrenic. Despite being composed entirely of only the most simple stick-figures, XKCD is paradoxically inimitable webcomic. Nevertheless, five brave cartoonists have taken on the challenge of guest-creating XKCD for a week, and the results have been, in scientific terms, compelling.

XKCD's guest cartoonists so far include Jeph Jacques (Questionable Content) and David Troupes (Buttercup Festival), but Bill Amend of FoxTrot fame is perhaps the most similarly nerdy. Indeed, the hover "alt" text attached to today's strip reads, "Guest comic by Bill Amend of FoxTrot, an inspiration to all us nerdy-physics-majors-turned-cartoonists, of which there are an oddly large number."
