For anyone lucky enough to be attending this weekend's Penny Arcade Expo (or simply PAX to the cool kids) in Seattle, it's important to note the comic book pros who will be celebrating video game culture alongside the regularly scheduled legions of cosplayers and gamers in attendance. After all, Penny Arcade is a celebrated Webcomic in its own right, lest ye forget!

Aside from the obvious guests of honor, PA creators Mike Krahulik and Jerry Holkins, here's a brief rundown of some of the comic book talent expected to be at the show (in no particular order):

-Scott Kurtz (PvP)
-Eric Jones (DC Comics: "Supergirl: Cosmic Adventures in the 8th Grade")
-Christina Strain (Marvel Comics: "Runaways")
-Mike Choi (Marvel: "X-Force")

In addition to attending the show, Kurtz will also host a panel tonight starting at 7 p.m., which he described this way on the PAX Web site:

"I basically stand on stage, talk about making Webcomics and take Q&As about what I do. Which is awesome. I'm quite good."

For those who can't make it this year, Kotaku's got some pics from the floor to help instill further jealousy all weekend long. Enjoy!
