Hey, gang, it's Music Week, so today we're taking a look at the most popular cartoon band of all time, the Gorillaz! Now, you might think the most popular cartoon band ever might be Alvin and the Chipmunks or Josie and the Pussycats or even the California Raisins, but no! It's Guinness Book official and everything. The most popular cartoon band of all time is the creation of Blur frontman Damon Albarn and Tank Girl co-creator Jamie Hewlett, who together have created multi-platinum albums and a multi-media franchise of books, cartoons, music videos, and stage shows based around the virtual band.
