‘Howl: A Graphic Novel’ Brings Allen Ginsberg’s Poetry to Comics [Preview]

Often called the greatest poem of the Beat Generation, Allen Ginsberg's "Howl" will soon reach out to a whole new audience with a major motion picture starring James Franco, Jon Hamm, David Strathairn and Mary-Louise Parker coming on September 24th. Harper Collins Publishers is releasing "Howl: A Graphic Novel," a combination of poetry with art by Ginberg's friend and collaborator Eric Drooker ("Blood Song," "Flood"), who designed the animated segments from the "Howl" film.
