‘Injustice: Gods Among Us’ Hits iOS Devices

Just can't wait for the Xbox 360, Wii U and PlayStation 3 versions Injustice: Gods Among Us, the DC Comics fighting game from NetherRealm Studios and Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment, to hit shelves April 16? Do you prefer swiping motions to pressing buttons? Or are you just a cheapskate?

Whatever the case, you can breathe a sigh of relief. The iOS version of the game, which can be played on an iPhone or iPad, is available now, for free, in the iTunes App Store. (Of course, if you feel compelled to spend money, there are a ton of in-app purchases available, ranging from two bucks to $50.) According to Joystiq, players who sign up for a WBID will be able to unlock and share items between the mobile and console versions of the game, so players planning on buying the console game can get a leg up on the competition with the iOS edition.
