‘Iron Fist’ Sets March 2017 Premiere With New Teaser!
We knew that Luke Cage and New York Comic-Con would likely bring us an update on Marvel’s fourth and final defender, but Netflix pulled a fast one on Iron Fist! Not only do we already have a March 2017 premiere, but also a new photo and teaser!
Marvel made the announcement in the dead of night like a drunk despot, setting a St. Patrick’s Day premiere of March 17 of the the 13-episode Iron Fist. In addition to the logo teaser above, the series also released a first photo of Finn Jones’ Danny Rand using his iron … well, you probably get it.
So reads the Iron Fist synopsis:
Returning to New York City after being missing for years, Daniel Rand fights against the criminal element corrupting New York City with his incredible kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist.
Elsewhere, following the addition of Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing, Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth, Jessica Stroup as Joy Meachum and David Wenham as Harold Meachum, past breakdowns also suggested Iron Fist would cast the roles of Shang Chi and “Steel Serpent.” Scott Buck will showrun Iron Fist, while reports suggested Jessica Jones writer Scott Reynolds will also have a hand on the creative side.
