High School Sucks: An Exclusive 30-Page Preview of ‘Ivy’

For Ivy Stenova, like millions of other teenagers counting the day till their 18th birthday, high school sucks. Her teachers are vindictive a-holes, her friends seem like they're starting to leave her behind, and even her own mother doesn't support her dream of being an artist. In the graphic novel Ivy by Sarah Oleksyk, out on Feb. 2nd from Oni Press, Ivy sets out to realize her dream of attending art school but ends up tangling herself deeper and deeper in the frustrations and incredibly bad decisions so common in near-adulthood -- and ones that might cost her everything.
