‘Lego Batman’ And ‘Knight Rider’ Coming To ‘Lego Dimensions’ In February
Lego Dimensions, the toys-to-life game that has brought together franchises such as The A-Team, Harry Potter and Portal, is expanding even more next year as it welcomes two new franchises into the fold.
One of them isn't too surprising, as the game will getting a major update based around the upcoming Lego Batman Movie. At the same time the game will introduce another franchise, as Michael Knight and KITT of Knight Rider join the fray.
In lieu of a separate The Lego Batman Movie game, Lego Dimensions will introduce a Lego Batman Movie story pack, which comes with six puzzle-packed levels and a new Gateway brick that allows players to build the Bat-Computer atop the Lego Toy Pad. The story pack will come with Lego Batgirl and Lego Robin minifigs, as well as a 3-in-1 buildable Batwing which can be rebuilt into The Black Thunder and Bat-Tank.
Both Robin and Batgirl will be playable in the game and come with unique abilities, such as Batgirl's stealth and high security access. Robin also comes with the ability to change into Nightwing, which grants him all new moves including a vine cut and deflection ability.
There will also be a separate Excalibur Batman Fun Pack which comes with a buildable Batman minifigure and a 3-in-1 buildable Bionic Steed, which can be rebuilt into the Bat-Raptor and Ultrabat for additional in-game abilities. Batman also unlocks The Lego Batman Movie Adventure World and Battle Arena. The Excalibur Batman Fun Pack will be available first at Target.
The Knight Rider pack comes with a buildable Michael Knight minifigure, and a rebuildable 3-in-1 K.I.T.T., that can be rebuilt into the K.I.T.T. Jet and Goliath Armored Semi. In the game players can play as either character, fighting crimes on two legs or four wheels. The Knight Rider pack also allows players access to the Knight Rider Adventure World and Battle Arena, and will be available first at Gamestop.
All three Lego Dimensions expansion packs will be available on February 10th, 2017. Check out more screens from the Lego Dimensions update.
