‘Mad Men’ Characters Styled by the Comics Artists of Periscope Studio

Mad Men comics could be a wonderful thing if anyone ever decided to publish a vintage-style adaptation of the show. Until that day comes, however, we'll have to depend on insightful creators like the ones collaborating at Periscope Studio. Like Hayao Miyazaki's characters and other sketch themes that have come before at Periscope, Mad Men attracted a nice lineup of contributions, and the art is snazzy.Steve Lieber, for instance, etched out some text-ready strips that make Don Draper look right at home in ink and Zip-A-Tone. The Periscope Tumblr account also features a beautiful Red Ryder BB Gun ad by Jonathan Case and a handful of other vice-laden entries.
Ron Chan, Jesse Hamm and their fellow artists got the job done, and you can even pick up a print of Natalie Nourigat's Joan and Roger print at Periscope's Etsy store if you take a notion. Enjoy them all slowly as you would a nice martini below.
