SPOILERS FOR CIVIL WAR II #3 FOLLOW
SERIOUSLY
As seen in Civil War II #3, Bruce Banner is dead, and he was killed by none other than Clint Barton AKA Hawkeye. To celebrate the life of the once Incredible Hulk, Greg Pak and Mark Bagley will bring together some of Banner’s closest allies for a wake in The Fallen #1. The issue will feature the likes of Amadeus Cho, Rick Jones, Betty Ross, Thunderbolt Ross, the Warbound, and more, telling stories and mourning the loss of the Jade Giant.
While it might seem obvious that The Accused #1 would center on Hawkeye as he faces the consequences of his actions, the issue actually focuses on Matt Murdock, AKA Daredevil, who is prosecuting Barton for Bruce Banner’s murder. Written by Marc Guggenheim, with art by Ramon Bachs and Garry Brown, the one-shot focuses on Murdock’s investigation into the case, and the question of whether he can guarantee a fair trial for Clint Barton.
