Marvel Skins Sackboys and Sackgirls Aplenty with New ‘Little Big Planet’ Costumes

Expanding upon last week's teaser image and character reveal, today Marvel debuted the first of several upcoming "Little Big Planet" avatars making their way to the PS3 as downloadable content next Tuesday. First up: Iron Man's Mark VI armor from "iron Man 2."

The IM armor will be joined by costumes of Captain America, Daredevil, Doctor Octopus, Elektra, Ghost Rider, Green Goblin, Hulk, Invisible Woman, The Human Torch, Magneto, Mystique, the Punisher, Rogue, Spider-Man, Storm, The Thing, Thor, Venom and Wolverine.

In addition to the costumes, LBP will offer a Marvel Level Kit, which includes four levels of anti-Magneto action. The levels will reportedly be stocked with Marvel music, objects, materials, stickers and a special "Rooftop" background for use in customized level building.

Fans have been waiting to dress their sackpeople in Marvel attire since the costumes were announced at Comic-Con last summer. From the looks of the updated Iron Man armor and each costume's reported compatibility with "Little Big Planet 2," it seems the wait will be worth it for players when the outfits premiere on the PS3 as downloadable content on July 6.
