‘Marvel Vs. Capcom 3′ Comic Could Include Galactus and Taskmaster

Well, it's far from official, but if the images at Shoryuken are indeed pages from the upcoming Marvel Vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds comic book adaptation, fans could be looking forward to at least cameos from Galactus and Taskmaster in February's hotly anticipated fighting game.Shoryuken's currently hosting several pages they found on Kevin Sharpe's ComicArtFans portfolio, which have since been removed. Galactus can be seen towering above Dante, Deadpool and Iron Man in the middle of a city, while Taskmaster is simply sitting at a table in the company of Doctor Doom, MODOK, Super Skrull and Magneto.

It seems pretty doubtful that Galactus will serve as a playable character in MvC3, but Taskmaster seems like a perfect fit for the game. Even if he's merely a reskinned Doctor Doom with Captain America's moves, those who read Fred Van Lente and Jefte Palo's latest Taskmaster miniseries will have cause to stand and cheer if he makes the final cut.

Ideally, though? It'd be awesome to play as a character who can counter his opponents with their own moves, plus fighting styles from other heroes and villains in the MvC3 canon.
