Mondo Releases Vinyl Soundtracks for ‘Daredevil’ and ‘Jessica Jones’

Mondo, following the success of its vinyl soundtrack for Netflix and Marvel's Luke Cage, is publishing similar vinyl releases for Daredevil and Jessica Jones. The Daredevil Season One record features music by John Paesano, while the soundtrack to Jessica Jones Season One, a double album, is by Sean Callery. Both feature really striking cover art by Matthew Woodson.

The design and packaging of these are really something to see. Each features the hero on the cover, and the villain on the interior gatefold. Daredevil is on red vinyl, with red dominating the artwork, while Jessica Jones is realized in purple. As a longtime Jessica Jones fan, I don't love how purple is always the color used to represent her, but I can't deny the packaging and record look gorgeous.

Mondo Record Label Manager Mo Shafeek expressed his enthusiasm in the press release:

It's extremely exciting to see each character come to life and with each new soundtrack it feels like we are building something bigger along the way, just like the characters in the shows are coming together for a larger purpose."
