Whether or not spinning Bobbi Morse and Lance Hunter into their own series feels like the best move, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. certainly gave the two a memorable sendoff with Tuesday’s “Parting Shot.” Now, the Most Wanted pair have more company, as The Mummy alum Oded Fehr joins in a recognizably villainous Marvel role, along with a few other additions.

Per TVLine, Fehr will take the role of “a well-known character from the Marvel comics who will prove a force to be reckoned with” for the two former S.H.I.E.L.D. members, as played by Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood. Additionally, Fernanda Andrade will play Christina Santos, niece to Dominic Fortune (Delroy Lindo)

So reads the Most Wanted synopsis:

[Marvel's Most Wanted] centers on Bobbi Morse (a.k.a. Mockingbird) and Lance Hunter of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., two ex-spies and ex-spouses who are on the run with no friends, no S.H.I.E.L.D. and a long list of enemies looking to claim a bounty on their heads. Able to trust no one but each other, Bobbi and Hunter form an uneasy alliance with Dominic Fortune, a rogue adventurer with a wealth of resources and even more adversaries, who agrees to protect them so long as they help him with his own agenda. These two heroes will help anyone in need, all while trying to uncover the conspiracy that put their own lives in jeopardy.

Initial reports also cryptically claimed that Marvel’s Most Wanted “is not a spinoff, per se, but rather an entirely new project solely focused on the two characters to continue their story.” Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. EP Jeffrey Bell and series writer Paul Zbyszewski will spearhead the project, both serving as showrunners and executive producers.
