‘Pinocchio: Vampire Slayer’ Sequel Brings New Puppet Pals
After weeks of momentum-building teasers, Robot6 let loose with Pinocchio's full roster of puppet pals set to debut in the pages of "Pinocchio: Vampire Slayer and the Great Puppet Theater."
Flavio, Isabella, Il Capitano, Harlequin, Columbina and Punchinello join the yet-to-be-a-real-boy courtesy of series creators Van Jensen and Dusty Higgins, who will unveil an all-new preview for the upcoming PVS sequel during Comic-Con. The duo were also planning on showing off the book's cover, which features an assemblage of the puppets, but Amazon beat them to the punch. From the looks of things, Pinocchio and his crew will be united in their battle against vamps (or, perhaps, further supernatural menaces?). In Carlo Collodi's original stories, the wooden folks acted like family and seemed to get along swimingly - particularly Pinocchio and Harlequin, who saved one another from fueling a fire.
