Prince Namor's slightly more personable cousin is stepping into the limelight on June 23 with an undersea outing chock full of feminine ankle wings. "Namora" #1 hits stores on June 23 and Marvel Comics has provided us with an exclusive preview of the Atlantean agent of ATLAS's adventures as written by Jeff Parker and illustrated by Sara Pichell with a cover by Stephanie Hans and a variant by Ramona Fradon.

Here's Marvel's official synopsis for the one-shot:

The powerful agent of ATLAS and Atlantean Princess known as Namora finds a missing colony of her aquatic people in the Barents Sea, and goes to bring them back to the new home of Oceana. But the Atlanteans are unwilling to leave and now Namora is also compelled to stay...and serve THE KRAKEN! Don't miss an aquatic adventure like only critically-acclaimed writer Jeff Parker (AGENTS OF ATLAS, THUNDERBOLTS, FALL OF THE HULKS) can tell it!
