A hero is defined by their villains, and the world of superhero comic books is filled with some of the scariest and silliest bad guys around. Rogues’ Gallery aims to settle the score and determine who is the true arch-nemesis for some of favorite superheroes, and we need your help to do it!

We know The Hulk is The Strongest One There Is, but which villain provides him the most challenge, whether it be through brute force, sharp intellect or psychological head-games?

The frontrunner for this poll has to be General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross who hunted The Hulk for decades, and has the personal connection his daughter Betty, Bruce Banner's ex-wife. Ross became even more of a threat when he became The Red Hulk, but soon after became a hero and occassional ally to the jade giant, and that may disqualify him from the top spot.

There are characters like Abomination and Xemnu who try to outpower The Hulk, but also schemers such as The Leader and MODOK who are smarter and thus see themselves as superior. Betty Ross herself has been a villain to The Hulk twice, once as The Harpy and later as Red She-Hulk, but again like her father, she joined the side of the angels.

The wildcard in this poll is none other than The Maestro, who is The Hulk himself from an imperfect future where he rules with an iron fist. Hulk stories are often about the duality of man, so perhaps the ultimate Hulk villain is a dark mirror of what The Hulk could become?

Let us know who you think gets the top spot for The Hulk’s number one nemesis below, and we’ll be back in a few weeks with a countdown of his top ten best and baddest villains. You can vote for up to three selections in the poll!
