Second ‘Avengers’ Movie Trailer Sweded by Seasoned Fans [Video]

Not content to put their "Sweding" skills (inspired by the film Be Kind Rewind) to use on just the first trailer for The Avengers film, Bryan Harley and the Dumb Drum crew have returned for an even more elaborate lo-fi, shot-for-shot remake of the second trailer for Earth's Mightiest Movie. Though the costumes are decidedly homespun and the special effects rely on action figures (Mighty Muggs have never looked better), Dumb Drum's creative camera and sound work results in a parody/homage that cannot be denied. Most of the humor comes from the fact that the cast plays things straight, but self-awareness kicks in for a pretty fun zinger toward the end.
